Lou Castle to Head Up InstantAction as New CEO

Post by Plasmatic » Thu Jul 16, 2009 12:00 am

Lou Castle has taken over as new CEO of InstantAction, the company that owns the rights to the Tribes franchise and numerous web-based games published by GarageGames. InstantAction will also be leaving its Eugene Oregon-based headquarters to join Castle in Las Vegas at Westwood Studios, home of the Command & Conquer series. Another office will be created in Portland.

Instant action is currently working on a re-release of it's popular Tribes 1 game with many new features and functionality. Expect exciting news in the next few weeks.

I wish that were an option when I was in school... Though I'd prefer a different digital format than pdf, as I hate acrobat reader with a passion.

It's almost worth purchasing acrobat writer just to rip pdf's to another format. Not to redistribute or anything, just something that scrolls properly and is searchable, and possible to copy and paste from.

i can copy paste and scroll in acrobat just fine? It depends on the pdf though.. they have to be text.. and not just scanned images. (makes sense.. :P ) and even then you can ocr trace it in acrobat which works quite good aswell

30€ is cheap as hell... I wish my text books cost that much.

I thought I was lucky when a text book cost less than $200, and was lighter than 6 month old twins.
