hammer 4 doesn't. All older versions do. You need 4 to map for hl2 though.

started a little bfore tribes vengeance or just after it came out i thk...
but it wasnt named acension back then

mapping in TSE is great. Once you got some dis shapes it's amazing. Much better then tribes 1 was even. The only thing lacking is a good terrain editor for the new atlas engine... you can import them as raw heightmaps though.

Ide love to map for the rpg. I realize its not the tribes one editor, but i've made so many maps for t1 I doubt itd be hard to be creative with this game once I read some tutorials.

As far as I know, Tribes: Source exists only as a working jetpack on the Source engine.

hehe allright.

Well TSE Milestone 4 is very close to it's release and i'm pretty exited about it :D .. It looks great. Dynamic shadows, self shadows, dynamic lighting, (finally) tools for the Atlas terrain, and from what i've heard also texture blending (instead of 1 huge texture from over 100 megs for the whole terrain)
